We are offering for sale our Vertere MG-1 package ex-demo. The MG-1 package includes: MG-1 Turntable fitted with a SG-PTA HB Tonearm, Mystic MC Cartridge, Tempo Motor Drive, Challenger PSU with Redline Mains and Tonearm Cable. The Mystic cartridge has had fairly light use from new and is still in good working order. The MG-1 is also in very good condition but may have a few small surface scratches due to the nature of acrylic, however they may buff out. The MG-1 tonearm and cartridge will be fully setup before collection from our showroom, however if hand delivery is arranged we can set the player up upon delivery if required. Taking vinyl replay beyond what’s possible in its turntable class, the Vertere MG-1 Magic Groove Turntable includes critical design elements from the SG-1 model. The precision main bearing, platter assembly, as well as the belt-driven SG-1 motor system, ensure the smoothest running and provides a stable platform for the tonearm and cartridge. This combination provides an exceptionally wide dynamic range with a “dark” background.

Superlative in its design, the Vertere MG-1 offers fabulous performance that is bettered only the RG-1 Reference Groove and SG-1 Standard Groove models. And as with all Vertere turntables, every individual part is custom built, created using the optimum materials and highest precision standards.

Vertere MG-1 is a perfect match for the SG-1 Tonearm (supplied), which is superbly built and a real delight to use. It plays music with the intended emotion and the realistic dynamics needed for a home environment, and provides an ideal flexible platform for upgrading the tonearm, cabling and cartridge, whenever the time is right to do so. The quality of the cable connecting the drive motor to the turntable has a huge impact on performance.

MG-1 Magic Groove comes supplied with the Vertere Tempo Motor Link cable as standard, on all finishes. As well as that, MG-1 also comes supplied with the Vertere Super Groove Tonearm and Vertere Redline Tonearm Cable as standard on all finishes.
