The Vertere MG-1 Magic Groove Turntable pushes vinyl replay beyond its turntable class, incorporating key design elements from the SG-1 model. This includes a precision main bearing platter assembly and a belt-driven SG-1 motor system, ensuring smooth operation and a stable platform for the tonearm and cartridge. This combination delivers an exceptionally wide dynamic range with a “dark” background.

Superlative in design, the Vertere MG-1 offers performance rivalled only by the RG-1 Reference Groove and SG-1 Super Groove models. Like all Vertere turntables, each component is custom-built using the finest materials and highest precision standards. The MG-1 features a hardened stainless steel spindle, phosphor bronze bearing housing and an aluminium alloy platter topped with bonded acrylic for ultra-smooth silent playback. It offers 2-stage compliance and 1-stage rigid isolation with a CNC-machined cast acrylic plinth to eliminate unwanted vibrations.

The Vertere MG-1 is perfectly matched to the supplied SG-1 Tonearm, which is superbly constructed and a real pleasure to use. It plays music with the intended emotion and realistic dynamics ideal for a home environment. It also provides a flexible platform for upgrading the tonearm cabling and cartridge whenever desired. The quality of the cable connecting the drive motor to the turntable significantly impacts performance.

The MG-1 Magic Groove comes standard with the Vertere Tempo Motor Link cable on all finishes. Additionally, it includes the Vertere Super Groove Tonearm and Vertere Redline Tonearm Cable on all finishes. To boost performance, you can add the new LunA DC power supply to the Tempo motor drive or mount your MG-1 on the dedicated Iso-Platform. This can be done on your rack or mounted to the wall using the optional wall bracket.
