The WELLFLOAT Delta Extreme Isolation Base is a special machined aluminium version of the highly regarded WELLDELTA. The WELLFLOAT Delta Extreme is available in two forms:

  • A solid top for placement beneath audio components such as amplifiers, music streamers, CD Players and so on
  • A centre hole for use with floor standing speakers with spikes

The Delta Extreme isolation base has earned a reputation with audiophiles and music lovers for improving music enjoyment as a result of its suspension structure to suppress sound distortion. The top board is machined from aluminium and eliminates unnecessary resonance and achieves a purer sound quality. By incorporating three WELLFLOAT mechanisms per insulator, each insulator can withstand a load of 250 kg (common mechanism with high-end racks).

The relatively small footprint of the WELLFLOAT Delta Extreme Isolation Base allows for more flexible use than traditional WELLFLOAT boards.

The WELLFLOAT series of isolation products are the brainchild of Mr. Shiro Nakamura, a world-famous car designer who produced numerous masterpieces such as GT-R and Fairlady Z at Isuzu Motors and Nissan Motors. Mr. Nakamura has a deep knowledge of music, is an amateur jazz bassist, and also plays the classical cello. He used to use well floats for musical instruments when he played, and he designed a new generation of well floats.

We recommend a minimum of two WELLFLOAT Delta Extreme isolation bases to be used beneath audio components and positioned with consideration to any weight imbalance with the product.
