The WELLFLOAT Babel Ultimate Isolation Base is the flagship model in the WELLFLOAT series and suppresses sound distortion with a suspended structure that is well-established for audiophiles.

The multi-stage four layer pendulum structure is also used for detecting gravitational waves, controls vibration down to the molecular level. By machining the top board from solid aluminium, WELLFLOAT succeeded in minimising the squeal of the board part, and at the same time, it fits with high-end equipment of metal enclosures.

The WELLFLOAT series of isolation products are the brainchild of Mr. Shiro Nakamura, a world-famous car designer who produced numerous masterpieces such as GT-R and Fairlady Z at Isuzu Motors and Nissan Motors. Mr. Nakamura has a deep knowledge of music, is an amateur jazz bassist, and also plays the classical cello. He used to use well floats for musical instruments when he played, and he designed a new generation of well floats.

Precautions regarding the installation

Please Install WELLFLOAT Babel so that WELLFLOAT logo can be seen in front .
・ Using one WELLFLOAT Babel for the equipment installed above, the maximum effect can be achieved by setting it accurately at the position of the centre of gravity of the equipment.
・When placing a tall equipment or a one with a high centre of gravity, please pay attention to the balance so that it will not fall over.
・When installing and setting, please do NOT move by holding the top movable part (top plate).
・Please make sure that there is a sufficient flat area and strength on the bottom of your equipment to be placed on top before setting.
・When mounting equipment with screw heads protruding from the underside of the chassis, please make sure there is sufficient strength on the bottom plate. It may be necessary to take measures such as using an optional board.
・The maximum load capacity of this product is 250 kg under static load.
・When a heavy device is placed on it, the internal mechanism may be damaged. So please put it on slowly.
