Demo events are back at Home Media! We’re delighted to announce our first free demo event of 2024, on Friday 19th April, in partnership with distributor Henley Audio. We will focus on Ortofon’s fantastic range of cartridges in timed demonstration slots across our two demo rooms, offering valuable insight into how great vinyl can sound on a high-end system – and an exclusive chance to explore some superb kit from a powerhouse brand and bend the ear of Matt, our Sales Rep from Henley Audio.
Available timeslots for both demo rooms are at 10:30–11:30, 12:00–13:00, 13:30–14:30, 15:00–16:00, 16:30–17:30, 18:00–19:00 and 19:30–20:30.

Demo Room #1
Throughout these sessions in demo room 1, we’ll be shining a light on some high-end options, showcasing a few Ortofon moving coil (MC) cartridges alongside the E.A.T Forte S Turntable and Ortofon AS 212 Tonearm (amplifier and speakers TBC). We will first focus on the Ortofon Cadenza Black as a baseline before moving up through the Exclusive Series range with the Winfeld Ti, Xpression, Verismo and Diamond.
The turntable will then be connected to an Ortofon ST-80 SE Step-Up Transformer (with the option of swapping to the Lehmannaudio Decade Jubilee) – and finally to a Vitus Audio SIA-025 MkII Integrated Amplifier (TBC) and Avalon Acoustics PM 2.2 Floorstanding Loudspeakers (TBC).
Demo Room #2
One of the many reasons we love Ortofon as a brand is that it is for all budgets and proves that you don’t necessarily need to pay over the odds in order to elevate your home audio experience – and that’s what we’ll be exploring in our second demo room.
We’ll set up a Rega Planar 3 Turntable alongside the Gold Note IS-10 Integrated Amplifier, Lehmannaudio Black Cube Standard Phono Stage and Russell K Red 50 Loudspeakers, then showcasing the Ortofon 2M Blue, 2M Bronze and 2M Black cartridges.
A fantastic chance to hear for yourself the difference between these products as well as affording you a comparison with the bigger, higher end system in the first room.
