Russell K Red 100 Standmount Loudspeaker

The Russell K Red 100 standmount loudspeaker was the first loudspeaker designed by Russel K and has since then won over the ears of many HiFi reviewers and customers. Alan Sicrom of Hifi+ puts it like this: “I think the reason the Red 100 works so well is it combines the twin demands of both timbre and tempo exquisitely, highly recommended.”

Crossover

Drivers connected in positive phase, crossover frequency 2200Hz nominal 12 db/Oct
Bass Inductor “Enclosed Field Ferrite Core” Very low DCR nominal stray fields
Tweeter attenuation by misaligned Zobel network as opposed to conventional L-Pad
Both Drivers have only one component in the signal path
Phase optimised through the crossover region
