Ensuring your power supply is as clean as possible can bring substantial performance benefits to all systems both large and small. The ISOL-8 Axis 10 and Axis 20 inline DC Blockers are both single channel, one box solutions with big performance.

Electrical supplies often contain unwanted DC offset, which causes transformer cores within connected equipment to operate far away from their optimum conditions. The ISOL-8 Axis circuit addresses this problem by blocking performance-degrading DC from reaching connected equipment, helping transformers operate more cleanly and quietly. The Axis 10 and Axis 20 can be added to any component from DAC’s to Power Amplifiers, that may be inducing noise through the DC sine wave. They can also be added to mains conditioners that don’t already have DC blocking included in the design topography. Two models are available – With a 10 amp rating, Axis 10 has a C13 power inlet and fused protection. Axis 20, with a 16 amp rating is protected by a circuit breaker which also functions as a switch. The C19 power inlet has the additional feature of being rhodium plated and of pure copper construction. A version of the Axis circuit can be added to the ISOL-8 F Series of mains conditioners at time of order, so you can improve your systems performance, and block DC noise all in one box.

The performance of the Axis DC blocking can be further improved with the addition of the ISOL-8 Vertex and Vector mains cables. By using better materials and construction techniques, both the Vertex and Vector cables vastly outperform any standard ‘kettle lead’. The higher conductivity of the core conductors, and the quality of insulation of the cable, help prevent electromagnetic interference and further improve sonic performance.
