The Gold Note IS-1000 MkII combines a powerful AB class integrated amplifier, a MM/MC phono preamplifier, a Hi-End DAC and a high-resolution Streamer into a single source.

The AB class amplifier with 125W per 8Ω @1kHz per channel ensures a pure sound, vivid dynamics and the ability to reproduce every detail. The IS-1000 MkII also offers a wide range of digital and analogue inputs to ensure total control, as well as the freedom to connect multiple devices. With the Gold Note IS-1000 MkII and a pair of speakers, it is possible to fully enjoy high-definition music right at home.

The Booster is a feature designed to reproduce the lower range of frequencies with power and control. It works as a custom equalisation, increasing the gain around 50Hz to provide a richer and more full-bodied sound. The 50Hz frequency has been chosen since lower frequencies are more difficult to obtain with small speakers. The Booster provides a richer and more full-bodied sound, for better realism and dynamic. It’s particularly useful in case of speakers that require more energy in the bass frequencies, for night-time listening at lower volumes, or even to achieve a more realistic headroom. The Booster is completely by-passed when set to OFF, applied to 50% when set to 1, applied to 100% when set to 2.

Installation of the Gold Note IS-1000 MKII is plug & play and is fully compatible with multi-room systems. Designed for high-resolution streaming via Roon, Airplay, Tidal, MQA, Qobuz, Spotify, vTuner and Deezer, the IS-1000 MkII can be controlled from a smartphone or tablet, through the proprietary GN Control app, which is available for free for iOS and Android.

But, for those who wish, it is also possible to reproduce from NAS or USB flash memory. Vinyl enthusiasts can connect their turntable directly to the Gold Note IS-1000 MkII and use the integrated phono preamplifier.
