With a working mass of 20kg and featuring an improved mineral mix including tungsten and titanium, the Silver Tellus Tungsten is a versatile ground box suitable for use in many audio systems. It includes 4 binding posts in a two-cell construction. This means you can attach digital sources to one cell and analogue sources to the other. The Silver Tellus Tungsten can also be used for negative speaker grounding.

Entreq say that the Silver Tellus is undoubtedly their best-selling ground box. Thousands of users worldwide use it, and it can be said that Silver Tellus is something of a legend. The longest and most-read thread on What’s Best Forum is about Silver Tellus. Now, after more than a decade, they introduce a completely redesigned version of this legend.

Entreq have updated the mineral mix to match the one used in the Olympus Tungsten boxes. The chassis has been modified so that Silver Tellus Tungsten now features two separate chambers. This means you can separate analogue and digital signals, using two connections for analogue devices and two for digital ones. You can also use the Silver Tellus Tungsten to ground the negative terminals of the amplifier’s speaker outputs. Entreq have retained the format but improved the chassis against vibrations and now deliver custom-made aluminium spikes (not pictured, but included).

As the Silver Tellus Tungsten is a twin-cell ground box, it works most effectively when grounding/draining up to two components with a total weight of between 10 – 100kg. It also works well for grounding all types of power distribution. This is only a guideline and you will find that it will still have a positive effect on larger components.

The Entreq Silver Tellus Tungsten ground box also works well for negative terminal grounding on all amps. Grounding the negative speaker post on amplifiers can have a significant, positive, impact on your sound quality.

Every Entreq Ground Box can be taken further with the addition of an Entreq Max post (sold separately). The Max range — Max T, Max S, Max Ti, Max Pa, Max Pl and the range-topping Max Supreme — allows the performance of the cable to be extended further, incrementally, as your system and needs change. Your investment in an Entreq ground box is not a fixed decision; it is the start of an architecture that grows with your system.

It’s highly recommended that you read the manual before making any changes to your system. Please contact us if you are unsure of how to connect the Entreq Silver Tellus Tungsten into your system. You can also check out the Entreq Connection Guide here.

For the highest quality in all applications, we recommend using Silver Tellus Tungsten in combination with Eartha Olympus cables. However, you will find that the Eartha Sudoku, Eartha Revelation and Eartha Apollo cables will also provide excellent performance at a lower price point. Please check the Eartha cables section on our website for more information.
