Negative loudspeaker terminal grounding is one of the most important first steps in Entreq system grounding, and the Macro Box Tungsten Twin Kit makes it as straightforward as possible — now with Tungsten Inside technology for even greater performance. The kit includes two Macro Box Tungsten ground units and two 1.1m Entreq Eartha ground cables, providing everything needed to ground both channels of your amplifier’s negative speaker terminals. No additional purchases required. Simply connect, settle down, and listen.

There are many ways Entreq grounding products can improve an audio system, but grounding the negative speaker terminals at your amplifier is considered an essential first step. It addresses noise at the point where it has the most influence over everything you hear, and the results are not subtle. The Macro Box Tungsten Twin Kit takes this fundamental step and raises its ceiling, pairing our most accessible route into Entreq grounding with the enhanced performance of Tungsten Inside technology.

Each Macro Box Tungsten is a hand-finished oak enclosure, sealed with beeswax, containing a reformulated version of Entreq’s proprietary mineral mix. This is Tungsten Inside technology: a mix featuring Tungsten, a material Entreq’s research found to offer even greater performance in grounding applications. The cables are terminated with a spade connector at one end and a 4mm banana plug at the other, and are non-diredtional, making connection to your amplifier’s speaker terminals simple regardless of your termination preference.

The effect of grounding the negative terminals is immediate and unmistakable. The noise floor drops, revealing detail and texture that was always in the recording but previously masked. The soundstage opens. Not artificially widened, but freed from the compression that electromagnetic and radio frequency interference impose on the signal path. Vocals gain presence and nuance. Transients decay more naturally. And perhaps most notably, bass takes on a solidity and authority that makes the entire system feel more grounded – in every sense.

With Tungsten Inside, these gains simply go further. The character of the improvement is the same; there is more of it. A quieter background still, and more of the recording allowed to surface through it.

These are not small, marginal gains. The Macro Twin Kit has earned consistent praise for delivering an improvement many compare to upgrading a power supply or adding a high-quality clock to a digital source, and it does so across the entire system, from a single point of connection. The Tungsten Twin Kit is built on that same foundation.

Negative terminal grounding remains the ideal place to begin, and the Macro Box Tungsten Twin Kit lets you begin at a higher level. It demonstrates what becomes possible when the magnetic fields around your signal ground are properly managed, with the added performance of Tungsten Inside from the very first step. Many listeners find that once the negative terminals are grounded, improvements elsewhere in the system become more apparent, naturally guiding the next stages of their Entreq journey.
As with all Entreq products, system matching matters. Entreq actively encourages auditioning before committing, because the right combination always sounds better than the most expensive one.

Connect one Eartha ground cable from the negative speaker terminal on each channel of your amplifier to its own Macro Box Tungsten. Each box grounds one channel independently — never connect both channels to the same ground box. The cables are non-directional, so either end can connect to the amplifier or the box. Once connected, allow the system a few hours to settle before critical listening.

It’s highly recommended that you read the manual before making any changes to your system. Please contact us if you are unsure of how to connect the Entreq Macro Box Tungsten into your system. You can also check out the Entreq Connection Guide here.

These ground boxes can each be connected to one component each. Each box works most effectively when grounding/draining 1 component with a total weight of up to 10kg. This is only a guide and you will find that it will still have a positive effect on larger components. This kit works well for negative terminal grounding on all amps.
