The Van Den Hul DDT-II Special MC Cartridge is a custom hand built moving coil design, with a Van Den Hul Type 1 tip, boron cantilever, matched crystal silver-wire coils and 0.65 mV/channel. The designation “Special” in the DDT-II’s name indicates important improvements over the previous version. The cartridge is equipped with a thicker front pole and an extra small magnet, both further enhancing its resolution capabilities and output voltage. The cartridge’s name DDT stands for Depth, Detail and Timbre.
