The company was founded by Joakim Juhl, a former Harvard scientist, and OePhi was built on the idea that timing is everything in music. Whether it’s a loudspeaker or a cable, OePhi carefully designs every product to keep the sound fast, natural and true to life.
The brand started with audio cables, creating models like Ascendance, Transcendence and Immanence. These cables use unique materials and designs to reduce interference and signal loss. The top-tier Reference line even uses solid silver and wooden spacers to achieve what they call “the sound of no cable”, meaning it adds nothing and takes nothing away.
OePhi later expanded into loudspeakers, using the same design principles. The Lounge 2 and Lounge 2.5 speakers are built to deliver accurate sound with minimal distortion. Special features like time-compensated crossovers and low-resonance cabinets help create a sound which we think feels both clean and emotionally powerful.
